Leek Building Society becomes latest IMLA member

  • Leek Building Society has joined the Intermediary Mortgage Lenders Association (IMLA) as a full member
  • IMLA now has a total of 68 full and associate members, including banks, building societies, non-bank lenders and mortgage service providers

Leek Building Society has become the latest lender to join the Intermediary Mortgage Lenders Association, bringing IMLA’s membership total to 68, with 18 building societies, 18 banks and 18 non-bank lenders making up the 56 full members, plus 14 associate members.

With a proud heritage dating back over 160 years, Leek Building Society provides high quality savings and mortgage products nationwide, with the majority of its lending achieved through its intermediary channels. As a mutual, the society is committed to positively impacting its members, employees and the local community.

Nikki Warren-Dean, head of intermediaries at Leek Building Society, will represent the lender at IMLA meetings.

As a full member of IMLA, Leek Building Society becomes part of a group of lenders responsible for more than 90% of the UK’s gross mortgage lending.
